Today I want to share the pictures, the amazing Sarah fromHouse of Picturestook of me in my very first (and yet unfinished) Renaissance creation. It is inspired by a portrait of Elizabeth I, by Steven van der Meulen. Countless hours of work already went into this dress, all the diamond shaped holes are branded in by hand, the golden decor-lines are all embroidered, the pattern adapted from an original historical pattern, the bodice is boned with spiral steel boning, the shoulders, aswell as skirt waistline are padded for a better stand and yet there is still so much more to be done.
We had the honor to step inside the magnificent Castle of Basedow (usually no visitors are allowed inside) and we were accompanied by the German regional TV channel ''NeuEins'. The Video Clip is in German, but I encourage you to check it out. No photo could ever show how this dress sparkles in the light.
Also visit the blog to see all photos from the shoot!
I had the honor to present 10 of my creations on the 111m catwalk in the city centre of my home town Neubrandenburg, Germany. It was a beautiful experience and certainly an event to remember. Thank you to all the lovely models, and to Canvass Event-Agentur for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
